MEDSYNC
MEDSYNC Definition:
Medication synchronization is when the pharmacist coordinates the refill of your medications so you can pick them up on a single day each month. Many people miss doses of their regular medications and medsync can make you more likely to take them.
FAQs
-
Medsync can help improve a patient's health by encouraging compliance, reducing trips to the pharmacy (with one trip monthly or every 3 months based on insurance or prescription limitations), personal attention from the pharmacist with properly filled prescriptions, proactive communication with the physicians/dr office for refills and current medication lists.
-
You qualify if you have 2 or more maintenance medications (medications that are taken daily/consistently).
-
A pharmacy technician will contact you prior to filling your monthly prescriptions to review and set appointment date. The technician will proactively contact your doctor to obtain refills needed, then process the prescriptions ahead of the appointment date. They can be done monthly or every 3 months, based on prescriptions and insurance limitations. By being proactive and processing based on your 'appointment date', we can order medications only when due, reducing our on hand inventory, reducing costs.
Once all of your prescriptions have been processed and filled to completion, you will receive notification (either by phone, text or email) that your prescriptions are ready for pickup. Your "appointment date" is the date that you will pick up your prescriptions.

We love what we do!
Here’s what our patients are saying about Olympic’s Medsync program.
“If it wasn’t for Medsync, it would be very difficult for me to manage all of my medication refills. I can't say how much time Medsync has saved me over the years.”
